Turtle Nest Protector Workshop

Turtle Nest Protector Workshop

With Georgian Bay Biosphere

Looking for a hands-on way to help local wildlife? Join the Turtle Nest Protector Workshop in Honey Harbour on Saturday, May 17 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, hosted by the Georgian Bay Biosphere.

This free workshop is your chance to learn how to help protect eastern Georgian Bay’s vulnerable turtle populations. Guided by expert biologists, you’ll discover how to build and install nest cages designed to shield fragile turtle eggs from natural predators. Whether you're a concerned resident, nature lover, or family looking for a meaningful weekend activity, this event offers the perfect way to make a direct impact on local conservation efforts.

Bonus: Participants will have the opportunity to take home a free turtle nest protector! Spots are limited, so be sure to register in advance and help make a difference for our shelled neighbours.

Add it to your calendar and be part of protecting the next generation of turtles!
